Who We Are
The principal of TDW Consulting is Terry Whalen. Terry is a certified Google AdWords Professional™ and Yahoo Ambassador™ and has managed campaigns that have generated millions of dollars worth of revenue for clients such as Stamps.com (Nasdaq: STMP), CitrixOnline (CTXS), Taleo (TLEO) and others. Terry has an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Services
- Keyword Research – We generate a broad list of keywords related to your business’ products, services, and website content, as well as those of your competitors. KW generation tools include those of Google, Yahoo, and other 3rd party tools. We then group keywords into appropriate ad groups, or categories, so that we can tailor ad messaging around each group.
- Ad Creative – We write and test multiple ads for each ad group based on client products/services, the offer (e.g. a free trial), and the target audience. Where possible, we include benefits and a call to action. Where appropriate, we test keyword substitution, and we also test using the display URL as a 4th line of ad text, with the ultimate goal of developing ads that maximize CTR and conversions while driving down CPC and cost/conversion.
- Landing Pages – We will work with your design team to develop and test various landing pages in order to maximize click-to-conversion metrics by rotating and testing (A/B or multivariate) LPs at the ad level or server level. If needed, we can help with Website Optimizer implantation and testing.
- Bid Management – We manage bids at the ad group and keyword level on a continuous basis in order to generate maximum ROIs. We do not use rules-based bid management systems, but instead we maximize overall conversions based on budget, which is something rules based systems are not always good at.
- Tracking – We work with our clients to track all relevant data, including impressions, keyword and ad CTRs, and conversions by ad group and keyword. For b2b campaigns, we can also reconcile closed sales using Salesforce.com. We can guide SFDC conversion tracking setup.
- Reporting – Our clients can expect weekly and monthly reporting of all click, cost and conversion data. We don’t just run reports and send them – we work with the client to determine the reporting variables and formats that will most help the client to continually gauge the success of the program.
- Continuous Optimization – We continually manage and grow the campaign to maximize and scale total conversions while driving down costs.
Fees
10% of monthly media spend, with a minimum fee of $1,000 per month.
